New Year, New Nets

Since the initial construction of our training facilities, our nets have seen many great years of use. This includes the growth and fostering of Junior teams, the development of players moving into Senior cricket, and even hostng representative teams training.

Over this time, our old mesh netting began to degrade. Each year at the start of the season we spent considerable time completing ongoing repairs where possible. At the commencement of the 2023/24 Season however, it was apparent that the material had reached its end of life and needed replacement.

Over the next few months, Kyle Scott (VP), secured a number of grants to enable funding to replace the full extent of the netting as well as an upgrade to the posts and cabling to better hold the system in place.
